I found this link through Hacker News and thought it was an insightful post. The method Wall Street firms use to recruit Ivy League undergraduates is a brilliant. They play on the fears and concerns students have about the real world and minimize the negative impact of the choice to “sell out.” However, it is not the firms’ fault either because they need great people to keep their places in the financial industry hierarchy.
