About Me

My name is Matthew Makai and I created this website so that I would have a place to put academic papers and other random stuff.

I went to the best undergraduate college in the world, James Madison University in Virginia, for my B.S. in computer science. For my M.S. in computer science, I went to Virginia Tech (partially so that I would have a big time football program to cheer for on lazy weekends). In May 2009, I will begin the M.S. in Management of Information Technology program at the University of Virginia's McIntire School of Commerce.

I currently work on biometrics projects as a Senior Consultant with Booz Allen Hamilton in Charlottesville, Virginia.
